TEEN ADVISORY GROUP (TAG)

Interested teens can work with the Young Adult Librarian to provide a teen perspective on the services and materials the library offers. Newcomers are always welcome at the meetings!

We meet every second Tuesday of the month at 4 pm in the Teen Suite: February 14 (no meeting – just chocolate tasting!), March 14, April 11, May (AP testing in place of TAG), and we’ll see if TAG wants to meet over the summer or not!

For questions, contact the YA Librarian, Sammy at (262) 785-4980.

Teen Programs

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need teens on Friday, March 3rd from noon to 4 pm to help with the Creating with Cardboard program. Younger children will be building things with cardboard in the Heritage & Youth Programming Room and we will need teens to help supervise and maybe even build!

We also need many teen volunteers on Thursday, April 20th, this is over spring break. We will be putting on a STEM program for younger children and will have 4 different activities. We would love to have at least 2 teens for each activity, so you could work with a friend if you would like!

If you are interested please email the Teen Librarian, Sammy, at sjackson@newberlinlibrary.org OR call the library at 262-785-4980 and asks for Christine in the Youth Department or Sammy the Teen Librarian.
