Welcome Allison and Bryan!

Allison, Adult Services Librarian

Allison recently joined our staff as an Adult Services Librarian. She graduated this May from UW-Milwaukee with her master’s degree in library and information science. Allison is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and received her undergraduate degree in western Illinois, but is now ready to call Milwaukee home. Allison enjoys reading from all categories from nonfiction to children’s titles. She is fascinated by magic and hopes to adopt a pug one day!

Bryan, Reference Associate

Bryan was recently hired as the Library’s Reference Associate. He’s lived in the Milwaukee area since 1985 and has a bachelor’s degree in political science from UW-Whitewater, a master’s degree in political science from UW-Milwaukee, and is currently studying library and information science at UW-Milwaukee, planning to complete his degree by December 2015. He and his wife Charlene just welcomed their daughter Rune Annabelle Grommesh Ericson into the world on Sunday, May 31st! Bryan loves public libraries, public service, reading, brisk walks, the Packers, University of Michigan sports, and spending time with his family. He’s really looking forward to joining the staff at NBPL!
