Book a Librarian

In the past the library has offered computer classes, open labs, and e-book clinics to help patrons with technology-related questions.

But as technology gets more advanced, questions become more diverse. It gets more and more difficult to satisfactorily address and answer everyone’s questions in a group setting. As such we’ve decided to adopt a new program: Book a Librarian!

With Book a Librarian, you (or someone you know) can sign up to meet one-on-one with a library staff member, at a time that’s convenient for you. This way we can provide individualized instruction and answers to the questions you have about computers, the Internet, and everything in between.

Some examples of popular help topics include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Computer Basics
  • Using the Library Catalog
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint)
  • Setting up and using Email
  • Introduction to the Library’s Databases
  • E-Readers (Kindle, Nook, I Pad) and OverDrive

If you would like to schedule a session, please visit the 2nd floor Reference Desk or call the library at (262) 785-4980.
