What our library patrons are reading this summer . . .

Book review by library patron, Kate C.
After a Fashion by Jen Turano

If Julia Roberts were a God-fearing, independent seamstress from New York, then After a Fashion would be the Pretty Woman of the 1800’s . The main character has personal integrity and courage, which are inspiring qualities; but she was far too argumentative for a pleasant read. The plot is, at times, odd and melodramatic, but in all, it was an entertaining and clean read.
