Social Isolation in Seniors

For some the winter months are magical. The holidays are an amazing reminder of the joys of family and togetherness, and the new year is full of promises. For others the cold weather is a real concern. It can prevent many from leaving their homes and going about their days as they normally would, and the elderly is the most susceptible to the dangers of harsh winter weather. One such danger is social isolation.
