Audiobook Month

June is Audiobook Month!

I think we’ll all agree that finding time to read can be difficult. So many of us live full, busy lives and settling down with a good book isn’t at the top of our to-do lists. Audiobooks are the perfect solution. You can take your story on the go and listen as you work, do chores, or drive from place to place. (And yes, audiobooks are real books, and they totally count!)

You can borrow books on CD from the library and pop them into your CD player. Or, in the age of smart devices, you can download your audiobooks from the Wisconsin Digital Library and OverDrive. Borrowed with your library card and sent straight to your smart device, there are hundreds of titles to choose from whether you like mystery, romance, fantasy, or non-fiction. (You can also borrow e-books and movies from the Wisconsin Digital Library.)

Click here to visit the help page and get started, or stop by the library with your device to learn more about borrowing electronic items!

Don’t forget, if you check out a book on CD on June 1, 8, 19, and/or 28 to earn an extra raffle ticket for the Adult Summer Reading Program!
