Girls Who Code is coming to the New Berlin Public Library!
 
The New Berlin Public Library will be offering a Girls Who Code Club for girls in grades 6-12th.  The club will meet on Thursdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th from 3:30-5:30pm.  Registration is required.  For more information and to register, please contact the Youth Services Department at 262-754-1814 or the Adult reference desk at 262-754-1815.
 
What is Girls Who Code?  Girls Who Code is a national non-profit working to close the gender gap in technology. The clubs are free after-school programs for 6-12th grade girls to use computer science to impact their community and join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models.
 
What is a typical session like? In a typical sessions, girls start by learning about a woman in technology.  The rest of the sessions is coding, working on a group project.

Party Like an April Fool!

Release your inner prankster and prepare to have fun! Tweens aged 8-14 are invited to a delightfully wacky April Fools Party on Wednesday, April 4 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room.
