Volunteer Hours for Book Reviews

Earn volunteer hours by reading young adult books and completing reviews! Your reviews will help the librarians decide which books to purchase. They will also help other library patrons decide which books to read. You can review an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) or a book already in the library. Audio books and graphic novels count, too! The best part? You can earn these volunteer hours in your pajamas, on your couch, at the beach, or in the car – the possibilities are endless!

Summer Reading Program Volunteers

Every year, the Library seeks teen volunteers to help with children’s events during our summer reading program. The Library also offers a Teen Tech Help program during the summer in which teenagers offer basic technology assistance on a walk-in basis to other library patrons. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these programs will not be taking place this summer (2020).
