Bullying Prevention Program for Parents @ the Library

Being harrassed by a bully can be a child's--and parent's--worst nightmare. Often, the parents and child are unsure of the best way to handle the situation. Join us to learn how bullying can be prevented. There will be tips for parents of a child who is being bullied and tools that can educate parents to become an advocate for their child.

This program will be presented by Nancy Athanasiou , Ed.D., Dean of Education at Alverno College and the bullying prevention team at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The program will take place on Tuesday September 24 from 6-8 p.m. in the library's Community Room.

For more information or to reserve your spot, please call Michelle at (262) 814-7076 or email  Be sure to also check out Talking About Bullies, a book list that includes fiction and non-fiction titles for children as well as books for parents.

Don't miss this program on a very important topic!
