May is Better Speech and Hearing Month!

"May is Better Speech and Hearing Month!"

Thursday, May 7, 10:30-11:00 a.m.
To help celebrate, parents and children ages 2-3 are invited to join in some fun and interactive activities to support age appropriate language development. In the spirit of spring, the theme will be "Baby Animals." We will be reading a short story, playing a few animal games and making a group craft. You and your child will have fun practicing these language skills:

- Answering "wh" questions such as "who," "what," and "where"

- Understanding basic qualitative concepts like under, on top, in, out, on, off

- Identifying/naming body parts, such as arms, legs and feet.

This program is presented by Angie Derouin, MS, CCC-SLP. She's a certified speech-language pathologist. Space is limited. Please register in person at the Youth Services Reference Desk or call 262-754-1814.
