Who says it's too early for Christmas fun? Our library elves have been tinkering away behind the scenes to bring you a sleigh-load of yuletide cheer! So, be sure to check out these holly-jolly events coming your way this holiday season:

 

First Annual Gingerbread House Contest

November 27 - 30

Drop off your fully decorated, fully edible, fully creative gingerbread house to the library between Nov. 27 - 30 for our gingerbread house display and community voting.

 

Friends of the Library Nutcracker Sweets

December 2

Join us in the Community Room for the Friends of the Library’s annual Holiday Fundraiser. For sale will include yummy nuts & popcorns and used books, along with amazing raffle items. Also look for our annual nuts and popcorn sale coming soon!

 

Christmas Remembered

December 3

Join us at 2pm for a concert of Christmas classics performed by local soprano Antoinette Mille. Call 262-754-1829 to reserve your seats.

 

Let’s Make Gifts

December 4

Come gather in our Youth Department on this night where children will have a chance to put their Christmas creativity to use by crafting homemade holiday ornaments for loved ones. Registration Required.

 

Santa Visit & Kindermarket

December 7

Our first annual Kindermarket features handcrafted items, made and sold by kids, available for sale (cash only) -- creating a great gift buying opportunity! And of course, the season would not be complete without a visit from Santa! Reserve your spot (beginning Dec. 4) for a visit with the jolly man himself!

 

Winter Terrariums

December 18

As the days turn chilly, embrace the season with this adult terrarium-creating class. All the materials needed to make peaceful winter scenes will be provided. Registration required.
