About the MakerStudio
The MakerStudio is Library space dedicated for exploring, creating, inventing, tinkering and learning hands-on!
All of the supplies are free for library users, but we ask that you use supplies only in the MakerStudio, share supplies with others, and clean your workstation when you are done!
Die Cutting Station
The Library houses a collection of die cuts to enhance everything from scrapbooks to classroom bulletin boards! We have 2 Sizzix and 1 Ellison Die Cut machine. You may use our paper or bring your own!
Craft Supplies
Let the Library provide puff balls, googly eyes, stampers, Washi tape, cardstock, and more! You do the heavy lifting when it comes to creative craft ideas!
Knitting, Crochet, and Textiles
Knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn, pom-pom makers, felt, fabric, and more are available for your use. (Pro tip: Just outside the MakerStudio in the Non-Fiction stacks, you’ll find knitting and crochet tutorial books for checkout! Look for 746.432 for knitting and 746.434 for crochet!)
Upcycled Materials and Bits & Pieces
From egg cartons, to glass jars, to magazines, and other odds ‘n ends, there is plenty of recycled material for you to make into new creations!
Construction and Engineering
Design a cardboard bridge, try your hand at snap circuits, or play with keva blocks, magnet tiles, and Legos to engage your mind!
MakerStudio Pop-Ups and Family Playtimes
