Book Drop & Drive-Thru Closure

Due to the replacement of the library’s HVAC chiller unit, the drive-up window and the outdoor book drop will be closed and inaccessible beginning Monday, April 27. All materials must be returned to the indoor book drop during operating hours only. Please call 262-785-4980 with any questions or accessibility needs.

Event Details

We've been at the Library Lane location for 20 years and it's time to purge our basement of the random things we have collected. This is not a typical library book sale, but we will have novel things to shop for! Paintings, teapots, lost & found items which have never found their home, items removed from the Library of Things collection, electronics, furniture, and so much more! The Library Gift Shop is also purging some of their inventory for the sale.

Friends members will have early access to shop Friday, March 14th from 5-7. Become a member for the $10 annual fee that evening! The sale will re-open on Saturday, March 15th from 9-12. We will use the earnings to support Library programming for 2025.  

We ask that shoppers bring their own shopping bags. All purchased items must be picked-up by 4:00 p.m. on 3/15.

If you have any houseplants that could use a new home, bring those along. The Library will be hosting one of our FREE plant swaps. Bring a plant, take a plant!
