Event Details

The New Berlin Safety Saturday Committee in cooperation with the New Berlin Public Library and the New Berlin Public Safety Departments, host an annual FREE outdoor community event called “Safety Saturday”. This event brings public and private safety and wellness service providers and resources together for the purpose of educating both children and adults on various aspects of safety and wellness.

Safety Saturday attractions include a “Touch-A-Truck” experience. The purpose of Touch-A-Truck is to introduce kiddos and families to the construction, trades & service-oriented industries. Attendees will be allowed to touch, climb, sit in, pose for photos, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe and supervised environment.

Additional highlights include free bike helmet distribution and fitting, free life vest distribution and fitting, rock wall climbing, inflatable attractions, a DJ with interactive games, free Sprecher soda (while supplies last), Milwaukee Brewer’s Famous Racing Sausages, exhibitor demonstrations, resource booths with free handouts and food available for purchase.
