Book Drop & Drive-Thru Closure

Due to the replacement of the library’s HVAC chiller unit, the drive-up window and the outdoor book drop will be closed and inaccessible beginning Monday, April 27. Silly, spooky, suspicious, scary, sad and shocking are the stories of Lake Geneva’s past.  History is not always about heroes!  It’s filled with plenty of true stories to entertain and or appall you, such as:  Why did the dams fail? What's at the bottom of the lake? What did Prohibition mean to the area?  Who were the undesirables? What's with the 1967 riots? Where are the architectural marvels of Geneva today? What’s the gossip on the 1950s bank robbery, prohibition gangsters and scandals in the Maple Park neighborhood?
