With the official start of Fall underway, we can feel the shift in the air – kids are back in school, the weather is getting cooler, and leaves are changing color and falling from the trees. It’s also the start of that magical time of year when we embrace all things spooky, and at the New Berlin Public Library we’ve planned a month of activities for all ages to help you celebrate the season. First Stage Goosebumps Party: October 2 at 4:30 PM
First Stage teaching artists will be at the library to help us bring Goosebumps to life! Explore characters, play games, and learn more about how First Stage brings books to the stage.
Tween Scene Monster Pillows: October 2 at 5:30 PM
After our Goosebumps Book Party, join us for a simple no-sew Monster Pillow craft to get in the Halloween spirit! All supplies provided.
Maker Kids Club Ghosties on Vacation: October 21 at 4:30 PM
You've probably seen the viral trend of painting ghosts on thrift store paintings, but this month, we will add them to vintage postcards!
Family Boo Bash: October 29 at 4:30 PM
Join us for crafts and games at our annual Family Boo Bash! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

In addition to events, don’t forget that the library has costumes for all ages that can be checked out for all your fall festivities. Costumes have a 7-day checkout period and borrowers must have a valid CAFÉ library card in good standing.
